Nehemiah is a story of challenge, opposition, and exile, but more importantly, a story of redemption, determination, and creation. At Revoice25, we'll ask together: what will God build in and through the Revoice community? What gifts, courage, and faith will He use to restore, redeem, and build the Kingdom? Our main stage speakers will help us explore this powerful theme next July.

Each year we’re joined by speakers who represent the beautiful lives, everyday faithfulness, and collective wisdom of our community.
DR. WESLEY HILL
Wesley Hill is associate professor of New Testament at Western Theological Seminary, Holland, Michigan and an assisting priest at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His PhD in New Testament is from Durham University in the UK. He is the author of Washed and Waiting: Reflections on Christian Faithfulness and Homosexuality (Zondervan, second edition 2016), Paul and the Trinity: Persons, Relations, and the Pauline Letters (Eerdmans, 2015), Spiritual Friendship: Finding Love in the Church as a Celibate Gay Christian (Brazos, 2015), and The Lord’s Prayer: A Guide to Praying to Our Father (Lexham, 2019). A contributing editor for Comment magazine, he writes regularly for Christianity Today, The Living Church, and other publications.
ART PEREIRA
Art Pereira is the Director of Events and Partnerships for Revoice. With a unique voice on the themes of sexuality, friendship, celibacy, and Christian faithfulness, Art has spoken on numerous platforms, including the Exiles in Babylon Conference and for the Journeys of Faith curriculum by the Center for Faith Gender and Sexuality. In addition to Christian platforms, his story has been featured in secular resources including Time Magazine, the national bestselling book The Other Significant Others: Reimagining Life with Friendship at the Center by Rhaina Cohen, and the popular podcast “This Is Actually Happening” which has over 300,000 regular listeners. At Revoice, Art’s passion is to build transformative communities and develop Kingdom leaders. Under his leadership, the Revoice Conference has achieved new heights in terms of both conference attendance and conference diversity. Art is also the chief architect of Reach, Revoice’s pioneering leadership development program for emerging LGBTQ+/SSA leaders who uphold the historic sexual ethic, an initiative that has trained 34 leaders and counting. Art has a BS in Youth Ministry from Nyack College and is currently working on his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
STEVE MWENDIA
Steve Mwendia is a pastor, speaker, and writer, focusing on the themes of same-sex-attraction, celibacy, and pastoral care. He holds a Master of Divinity from Africa International University and a Bachelor of Education from Kenyatta University. With a passion for pastoral care and compassion towards the LGBTQ+ community, Steve has boldly shared his story and faith on various podcasts, including Life on Side B and New Kinship, as well as KUTV in Kenya. Steve has also developed online community groups for African believers who follow a historic sexual ethic, providing vital community and discipleship to same-sex-attracted Christians in Africa.
JULIA SADUSKY
Julia Sadusky (PsyD, Regent University) is an author, speaker, and licensed psychologist. She owns Lux Counseling and Consulting in Littleton, CO., where she offers individual, family, and couples therapy in addition to consultations for individuals and families around sexuality and gender. She also serves as a ministry educator, offering trainings and consultations to counseling centers and faith-based institutions on sexuality, gender identity, mental health, trauma-informed care, and the intersection of sexuality, gender, and theology. Dr. Sadusky’s most recent books are Start Talking to Your Kids About Sex: A Practical Guide for Catholics and Talking with Your Teen About Sex: A Practical Guide for Catholics (Ave Maria Press). Dr. Sadusky has coauthored two other books, including Emerging Gender Identities: Understanding the Diverse Experiences of Today’s Youth (Brazos Press) and Gender Identity & Faith: Clinical Postures, Tools and Case Studies for Client-Centered Care (Intervarsity Press) with Mark Yarhouse, PsyD., and contributed to a four views book titled, Understanding Transgender Identities: 4 Views (Baker Academic).

Here you will find Holy-Spirit hugs, main-stage led liturgy, intentional spaces for prayer by our care ministers, and the love of Jesus in living proof.

COMMUNITY
Connection with others.
Revoice is a space for LGBTQ+/SSA Christians to meet up in a group centered around joy, freedom, and faithfulness. Our heterosexual friends also often find connection with others who care about God’s work in our community. Many of us have had very lonely journeys - we hope this is a place where you feel quickly heard, seen, and understood.
Join in at lunchtime affinity groups, or our first-ever welcome dinner to make some connections!
