Revoice 24 Online
We’re absolutely thrilled to make content specifically for our online attendees!
SCHEDULE |
All times posted are in EDT.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26TH
Log on and enjoy some fan favorite Revoice talks from past years! We’ll be showing a talk from a past conference at the top of each hour.
12 - 4 pm | pre-conference
You don’t want to miss this block. It’ll give you the tools to navigate the rest of your online experience and will offer valuable insights on ways to engage, how to address safety concerns, and where to go for tech support.
6:15 - 7 pm | online orientation
Saved by Grace | Brenna Blain
“God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.” Ephesians 2:9
7 - 9 pm | main session one
For our extroverts and outgoing introverts, for people who like to meet others…basically for anyone who wants to stay to connect and chat.
9:05 - 9:45 pm | post session hang
[PRO TIP] Log on early even if you don’t plan to watch at that time so you can fix any tech issues before the opening session.
THURSDAY, JUNE 27TH
Masterpiece | Dr. David Bennet
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10
10 - 11 am | main session two
Join our Emcees as they interview Brenna Blain, a beloved speaker and writer who is opening up this year’s conference. We’ll talk to Brenna all about her new book, “Can I Say That? How Unsafe Questions Lead Us To The Real God.”
11:45 - 12:15 pm | interview
Did God Really Say? | Greg Coles
What limits has God set for us and what limits do we set for ourselves? Join us in a community conversation where we explore the difference between true limits (which are God-given) and false limits (which claim to be from God but are not).
1:30 - 2:30 | breakout session one
A Story About Denial | Manuel Alvarado
“Why did it take me so long to admit to myself that I'm gay/SSA?" Through a personal story, we'll explore the journey of facing and overcoming the barriers that stand in the way of knowing our true selves. We'll discover ways to work against denial.
3:00 - 4:00 | breakout session two
We realize there are different time zones, so whether this is a perfect time for dinner, breakfast, or midnight snack, there will be an opportunity to interact with others online—camera on, or off.
4 - 6 pm | dinner break
With the theme of Masterpiece, we want to take time to acknowledge the talents of the many artists in our community. Our delightful curators, Timothy and Courtney have the difficult task of picking which ones to share with you.
4:15 | digital art show
6:15 - 6:45 pm | interview
Hear from a long-time Revoice supporter, passionate ally, and now Executive Director, Michelle Sanchez. Not easily intimidated, we won’t hold back from getting to the heart of who she is beyond her bio.
New in Christ | Kay D. Lynn
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10
7 - 9 pm | main session three
More of the same goodness as last night. Maybe new attendees, always new engagements. Can’t wait to see you there.
9:05 - 9:45 pm | post-session hang
[PRO TIP] Check in with yourself. It’s easy to get caught up in soaking up all of the content, but it can also be extremely draining. Look over this schedule and note which blocks stand out to you. Prioritize going to those so you can take breaks as needed throughout the rest of the day.
FRIDAY, JUNE 28TH
Good Works | Misty Irons
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10
10 - 11 am | main session four
Join us as we interview friend, writer, and speaker Greg Coles as he shares about his as-of-late love of fiction, what stories are making him excited these days, and more!
11:45 - 12:15 pm | interview
The Gift of Allyship: A Panel Discussion | Michelle Sanchez
As we support and advocate for our LGBTQ+/SSA siblings in Christ, we receive so much in return—friendship, mutual encouragement, personal growth in faith, and so much more. Join Executive Director Rev. Michelle Sanchez and a panel of straight pastors and allies for the discussion.
1:30 - 2:30 pm | breakout session three
Attachment Theory: Am I Kenough | Jericho Noel Sullivan
We will cover what attachment styles are, how to be in relationship with others in healthy ways, healing insecure attachments, and how to care for others with insecure attachments. We’ll have a healthy dose of laughter as we’ll point us towards joy to combat the shame that might arise.
3:00 - 4:00 pm | breakout session four
One of our keynote speakers from last year and pre-conference speaker this year, we’ll hear the passion, wisdom, and humor of the beloved of Johana-Marie Williams as she answers questions from us and you.
4:15 - 5:00 pm | interview
One of our favorite elements of our conference is the opportunity for people to get in groups and connect with each other. Community is one of our three main values and we want that to be a part of the online experience as well. We’ll hop on zoom and get a chance to meet in smaller groups to engage and meet new people.
6:00 - 6:45 pm | discussion groups
Our Masterpiece conference wouldn’t be complete without a display of talents from within our community. Join us for live music played by Linden Hope Music and Rock Eupora, artists from within our community, as well as a beautiful dance performance.
7:30 - 9:00 pm | community concert
Not to overly influence you, but this will be your last chance to hang out with your fellow attendees, at least officially during the conference. We always welcome connections that last past this week. If you want to gather in person with people in your region, email connect@revoice.com.
9:05 - 9:45 | post-session hang
[PRO TIP] Practice safety while you seek connection! If you connect with another online attendee and want to stay in touch, consider identifying a safe email you don’t mind sharing.
ONLINE BOOKSTORE | Get trusted resources and support the mission of Revoice
SATURDAY, JUNE 29TH
Closing and Vision | Nate Collins and Michelle Sanchez
“Planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10
10:00 - 11:45 | final session
[PRO TIP] Look for ways long after the conference to stay part of the connections you made and to keep what you took to heart. You know what you need best: whether that’s through getting early access to next year’s conference, finding a local chapter, looking into Reach opportunities, or signing up for a few webinars throughout the year. The conference is once a year, but our engagement with each other doesn’t have to be.
REVOICE23
QUOTE |
I came into Revoice feeling particularly frustrated with the Church… what I saw at Revoice over and over was people who have such a deep love and commitment to Jesus AND His church… it’s both convicting and inspiring. If they can press on, I can too.
