Reach Cohort

What is Reach?
Reach is a skills-and-spirituality cohort, designed to equip and empower Christians who are LGBTQ+ or same-sex-attracted. Each year, we’ll choose a small group of individuals, particularly those from underrepresented communities, and invest deeply into their spiritual development, while also teaching them key skills we believe will be fruitful. These skills include: sharing your story, bridging belief gaps, and building community.

This cohort will meet twice a month, for 7 months (with one month break in December), at a consistent time.

Who is Reach for?
Reach is for LGBTQ+/Same-Sex-Attracted followers of Jesus who already display a maturity in their faith, and want to grow in ministry skills.
No prior ministry experience is needed. Some participants will be experienced in ministry, but not sexuality dialogue. Others will be experienced in sexuality dialogue, but perhaps not ministry. Some won’t have either experience - but have a rich love of Jesus and a commitment to their own faith.

Reach participants are not required to serve with Revoice, or any other partner organization, but we do prioritize applicants who are pursuing Christian ministry to the LGBTQ+ community. For past participants, this has looked like: advocacy within their own church/faith community, organizational training-LGBTQ+ evangelism, and discipleship of LGBTQ+ individuals.

How do I participate?
Our Second Reach Cohort has been selected, and we're thrilled to invest in a new group of leaders for our community. Enter your info below to be the first to know when our next application process opens.
