The Lausanne Movement, founded by John Stott and Billy Graham, is renowned for its dedication to global evangelization. Since its inception, the Movement has hosted three significant global gatherings—in Lausanne, Switzerland (1974), Manila, Philippines (1989), and Cape Town, South Africa (2010)—which have shaped the direction of global mission. The Lausanne Covenant, a product of the first congress in 1974, remains one of the most influential evangelical documents and continues to serve as a statement of faith for Christians worldwide.

Rev. Michelle Sanchez, who has served as Executive Director of Revoice since January 2024, will represent the organization at this global movement. Her participation is a significant opportunity for Revoice to contribute to international conversations on human sexuality and the Church’s mission in today’s world.

Quote from Rev. Michelle Sanchez:

“I am deeply humbled and excited to represent Revoice at the Lausanne Congress. This is a pivotal moment for the global Church to come together and seek God’s guidance on how we can more effectively declare and display Christ in every corner of the world. I look forward to learning from and contributing to the conversations that will shape the future of global mission, particularly in how we address the complexities of human sexuality with grace and truth.”
